POTD 33: Cheery Flowers

These gorgeous flowers showed up yesterday from my Mom! What a sweetie! She thought I could use a little cheer after been rattled around. I'm going to enjoy these for a long time :) Click on the photos for a really good close up. The colours are outrageous! You'll have to wait for another day to see my reading material ;)

POTD 32: Night-Night

For Christmas a dear friend gave me some lovely products to get me into the sleep mode (http://www.uppercanadasoap.com/). And my dear husband gave me some wonderful foot butter to rub on my aching feet (http://www.rockymountainsoap.com/). I love that both these products are made in Canada and they both have delicious scents. The lip balm products are here at the bedside too. I can't live without those - except now while I'm sporting a purple fat lip from a recent mva. Some of the most used things are kept right here in this little spot on my headboard. This is a new spot for me. I got rid of a dresser that was taking up way too much space and was beginning to become a place to toss everything and anything so it was definitely time to downsize and think about what was really important to my daily life. Maybe tomorrow I'll show you the bookcase that is attached to the headboard.....my obsession....my reading material....maybe I should clean it out first before I show and tell. Have a great day!
