Inside Joke

Ever since I met my hubby years and years ago we've had an inside joke when it comes to dining out. 9 out of 10 times I will receive a larger portioned meal than him. Does the waitress request double portions for me? Do I look that skinny? When I met hubby I was definitely scrawny but I've since expanded those fat molecules and don't need the extra calories any more. Tonight we ended up at a local pub for dinner. We order 2 beers while we cruise the menu. You see that huge mug of beer on the right? Yup! That's mine. Hubby's is the normal looking one on the left. We had such a giggle! Maybe she just thought one of us had to take it easy for the drive home. She was right :D

Adorable Adoptable

Hi! My name is Shadow. I just love this nice fluffy dog bed that sits in front of a cozy fire in my new home. My home for the last 3+ years was living in the outdoors most of the time with some very nice people letting me sit inside their building and feeding me during the night. Then someone complained and I had to be uplifted in a hurry. It's going to take a little bit of time for me to get used to 2 big dogs and another cat that has been king of this castle for a long time. But so far I am enjoying my new digs and getting comfy. I'm not sure if I want to go outside any time soon tho. It's very intimidating. See how shiny my coat is already. No more sleeping in the dirt! I'll keep you posted on how things progress. My 5th birthday is coming up soon on June 7th. I hope I'll feel comfy enough then to lay out on the deck and soak up some rays :D

Winter in April

It snowed all night and it's still snowing! So much for spending the w/e cleaning debris from the rock garden and planning what to put in next since the deer came through a week ago and took out ALL the tulips. Plan B: Cleaning kitchen cupboards and cleaning out stuff way in the back that hasn't been used in years. I'll get this purging stuff done yet. :D

Ready To Go Camping!

Last week I picked up a new camping chair as we make plans to head out to the lake this summer. I haven't even had time to remove the tag and what happens.....it snows! Then the sun pops out. This is what our winter/spring has been like. A medley of weather patterns that keeps surprising us.

Meet Blackberry & Vanilla :D The Easter Bunny dropped off these Webkinz' for Madison. Now we are all hooked on playing games, decorating rooms, feeding the animals, and working and learning. Where was this when I was a kid? lol
