POTD 17: Photo Editing Question
I have 3 photos of Madison sitting on the carpet in front of one of the large windows on the BC Ferry. I would love to scrapbook these photos but first it would be nice to edit the photo....turn everything but her into b/w. Your advice?
Hey there girly...what editing program do you have? If you have photoshop and higher, I have posted instructions to do this very thing on my photo a day blog here. http://kimberlygarofolo.typepad.com/photo_a_day_08/2008/01/day-16.html I hope this helps ya! LOVE this sweet shot btw too...just GORGEOUS! xoxo Loves, K
I use PSE 6 and I duplicate my photo and turn the copy to black and white, then using an appropriate size eraser erase the part of the photo you wish to show in color

Wow Kimberly! Those instructions are awesome and 'sound' doable! I'll give this a go and let you know how it works. I do have PS C2. Hugs!
I like what you are planning to do, that BC ferry carpet and yellow paint is pretty distracting. Madison is quite the cutie!
No advice to give, but I love the photo.
I love the photo but don't have any suggestions on editing the lighting...I'm still working on that sort of thing myself.
What a sweet little girl...I think you idea is a good one!
