Watching for Wabbits!

A familar pose in the spring when it's too cool to keep the door opened. These two take up shop in front of the window hoping for a glimpse of a bunny or squirrel. Nary an evening goes by when there is not a ruckus to get outside and go scampering off after something. For Gus (the one on the left) it can be something as simple as maple leaves tumbling across the yard. Tomorrow is Gus' (aka Parador Lord and Master) 5th birthday. He's the same goofy dog as he was as a puppy! (Pardon the reflection of the tv screen!)

Happy birthday Gus. Are you making a birthday cake for him? My daughter makes one for their cat's birthday each year - the kids insist on it.

Birthday cake will consist of a lump of canned dog food complete with candle which is a treat for them :) Singing Happy Birthday will send Gus into an uncontrollable fit of goofiness!!! He goes nuts when anyone sings. Dancing and prancing and jumping up with those killer grizzly claws of his!

Our two boys (the cats) are just like that in their never ending search for lizards and squirrels. Great picture!
